Holsworthy Farming Health Hub – A multi-morbidity, multi-organisational approach
Online, 17 September 9:30am-11:30am
Farmers and rural communities in Cornwall and Devon often struggle to access healthcare — especially in areas with older populations and high rates of long-term health conditions. Traditionally, many organisations have been working separately to solve these problems, but now they’ve come together to try a new approach.
The Holsworthy Farming Health Hub is a collaborative project involving the NHS, public health teams, charities, the third sector, and farming organisations. Together, they’re building a model that brings health support directly to farming communities, making care more accessible and joined-up. This free online event will showcase the evolution of the model to date, funding, metrics, research and next steps.
